They say change is good ...

And how my life has changed!  In October 2008, after 22 years at American Airlines,  I took a voluntary early retirement package.  I know, you all thought I would take my last dying breath at AA, but the stars all aligned for me to follow my heart and dreams and move on to the next adventure.

I spent the first few months reconnecting with family and friends.  What a treat to just “hang out” and be totally present in the moment.   After the holidays and a quick trip to Sonoma County, CA to confirm my desire to relocate there, the next 2 months were focused on getting the house ready to sell and divesting myself of  90% of my possessions.  Not easy for this serial hoarder and tightwad, but in the end an incredibly freeing exercise.  The universe smiled again as the house sold in 3 days at full asking price and on April 15th I headed west.

Having simply “gobs” of time on my hands - in between bike riding, hiking, kayaking, yoga, listening to live music, volunteer activities and, of course, tasting wine - I’m committed to learning how to actually use my fancy new Mac and create a website in the hopes of keeping you updated.  So enjoy (or not - constructive feedback welcome) and let me hear from you!!!
